Ma Dukes and Vintage Vibez Music Group are preparing the release of J Dilla‘s next album, Dillatronic, according to a press release.

The posthumous project is slated for an October 30 release and is scheduled to be available in CD and vinyl format with three different deluxe packages.

“I can smile in my heart, knowing my son’s work is being shared with the people as we planned before he passed,” Ma Dukes says in the press release. “I only share the best, and I only hope to continue introducing the world to the genius of J Dilla.”

The release says the project will consist of more than 40 instrumentals made by the late Detroit producer.

The press release also announces the dates for the second installment of Dilla Weekend. The event is scheduled to take place February 5-7 in Miami.

J Dilla passed away in 2006 from complications due to Lupus. Two of his most prominent albums are Donuts and The Shining. The latter was the first of his posthumous releases.
