Tokyo Vanity took to Instagram yesterday (September 14) to express her frustration in what she sees as Young Thug ripping off her song when he recorded “Best Friend.”

“My song is copywritten and trademarked, bitch,” the New Orleans rapper says of her song, “That’s My Best Friend,” in an Instagram video. “I could sue if I want to, bitch. I will spit in y’all fucking face. Keep telling me what the fuck I got. Fuck Young Thug.”

She also shares an image of a direct message from Young Thug’s director asking her to appear in the “Best Friend” video, which was released yesterday.

“I declined because I didn’t want to be in that video to that pooh-ass song,” she says in another video. “That song is pooh as his fucking dreads, bitch. He had to steal something, bitch. Career going down the drain, bitch. Got dropped from the label. Birdman fucking over.”

Young Thug is associated with Birdman’s Rich Gang, but is not signed to Cash Money. He reportedly has a production deal with Gucci Mane’s 1017 Brick Squad and signed with APG in 2013.

In July, Young Thug and Birdman were named in an indictment for conspiracy in the shooting of Lil Wayne’s tour bus.
