Hit 1990s television show Fresh Prince of Bel-Air turns 25 years old this year. It made its debut on NBC September 10, 1990, catapulting a young Will Smith into superstardom.

Executive produced by Quincy Jones, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air is centered around a West Philadelphia-born and raised street kid, Will, who is sent off to his affluent aunt and uncle in Bel Air, California for getting in one “little” fight.

Will Smith is reportedly set to reboot the sitcom as executive producer.

“And with so many ’80s and ’90s babies now grown up and dominating the rap game, the lyrical references to Geoffery, Uncle Phil, Aunt Viv, Carlton, Hilary even little Ashley, never cease,” XXL writes.
