Lil Durk denies that his tour bus was shot in Philadelphia Friday (September 4).

They said tour bus got shot up and one of us got shot,” the rapper wrote on his Instagram page, “we all good we on the way to next city Pittsburgh we on the way…So all the blogs answer this lol.”

Lil Durk’s concert at the Theater of Living Arts in Philadelphia was canceled after a man was shot and killed outside the venue yesterday (September 4), according to NBC Philadelphia.

The victim, who died at Hahnemann University Hospital, has not been identified. 

Lil Durk’s tour bus was also hit by gunfire.

The shooting took place at approximately 8:20 pm, more than an hour after the concert’s reported 7 pm start time. The show had yet to begin, however.

After a scuffle, police say shots were fired. Witnesses told Philadelphia’s NBC10 that three shots were fired. 

Chief Inspector Scott Small told NBC10 that the suspect entered a limo and left the scene. 

Police later overtook the vehicle, took three men in for questioning and recovered a handgun. 

No charges have been filed at press time.
