The Source’s new co-owner Benzino (aka Ray Dog) was arrested Tuesday in south Florida when a police officer pulled his Ferrari over after clocking him doing 68 mph in a 30 zone.

Benzino refused to cooperate with the cop, and the two got into a shouting match, which led to the cop trying to drag Benzino out of his car. Benzino struggled and the officer called for back up. Eventually, Benzino and his passenger Curtis Williams were both arrested. Williams was released later that day, but Benzino was held until Wednesday, when he was released on $32,500 US bond.

He has been charged with reckless driving, resisting arrest with violence, battery on a law enforcement officer, driving without a license and possession of marijuana. Apparently Benzino and Source CEO David Mays tried to throw their weight around to have the charges dropped, but the police were not phased.
