Now in its eight year, the Atlantis Music Conference & Festival is scheduled to begin Aug. 10 in Atlanta. The three-day conference is an unsigned artist’s dream, as they get the opportunity to perform for the plethora of industry executives that gather yearly for the event.

This year’s conference will feature over 300 showcasing artists from around the country, representing all music genres—from Hip Hop, rock and acoustic to soul, pop and R&B. Educational Panels will be held throughout the day at the Sheraton Atlanta Hotel, in addition to a Job Fair and of course, numerous parties.

Kem (Motown), HITCO writer Sean Garrett (Usher “Yeah,” Ciara “Goodie,” Destiny’s Child “Loose My Breath), Aftermath producer, Focus and producer Tricky Stuart are among the artists and producers slated to appear at this year’s conference. Representatives from MTV Latin America, BMI, EMI, Radio One and Universal will also be on hand to lend guidance and advice to aspiring artists. The conference will be held throughout downtown, midtown, Virginia Highlands and Little Five Points and ends on Aug. 13.
