50 Cent took to Instagram to respond to Kidd Kidd’s arrest prior to a XXL Freshmen concert yesterday (June 30) in New York.

“Shit was wild last night,” 50 says. “Kidd was all fly, got all dressed up. We went to the Freshmen joint. Police jumped on Kidd like, ‘Uh, nigga don’t move.’ I said, ‘Kidd, don’t move. Them niggas will start shooting. NYPD don’t give a fuck.'”

The video is shot from inside of a car and 50 says he is on his way to bail out the G-Unit rapper.

“I’m gonna get him now,” he says. “Can’t do him like they did Bobby.”

50 Cent is likely referring to Bobby Shmurda, who was arrested in December and was given a $2 million bail. His label, Epic Records, did not post bail for him and he remains in jail as he awaits trial.
