J. Cole is in the midst of his “Dollar And A Dream” tour and took the time to attend a fan’s high school graduation.
After releasing his Revenge of the Dreamers mixtape, the North Carolina rapper opened a hotline for his fans to call in and talk with him.
Cierra Bosarge was one of the fans who spoke with J. Cole. She also sent him a letter, which he said he read twice. Via Twitter direct message, he said that he would attend her graduation if she got into a four-year university.

Bosarge fulfilled her end of the bargain and, this week, Cole fulfilled his, according to XXL.
Along with attending the graduation, the rapper bought her some books, including The Autobiography of Malcolm X and C.S. Lewis’ The Great Divorce.
J. Cole’s friend and Dreamville president Ibrahim Hamad told Bosarge that he was unable to make the graduation, but said that they routed the “Dollar and a Dream” tour around the date so that Cole could be in attendance.
@princess_simba i'm happy it all worked out for you. Had to route the tour around your graduation lol. You deserved it now keeping it going.
