Move over Jay-Z, Nelly has a shoe deal with Reebok also. The St. Louis rapper has linked up with Reebok for a signature collection of footwear, apparel and accessories.
“I’ve always been into sneakers and throughout my career I’ve always wanted to have a signature pair of sneakers that truly reflect my personal style,” Nelly said to Billboard. “It made the most sense for me to partner with Reebok because they fully understand and respect the culture of sports, music and entertainment.“
Nelly will be featured in the Reebok’s “I Am What I Am” campaign. He’ll join Jay-Z as the focal point of Reebok lines.
In the meanwhile, Reebok and Jay-Z’s Def Jam are teaming up to offer an eight-week fall internship at the record company.
