With the month of March serving as Women’s History Month, the music streaming service known as Spotify took time to rank the most streamed female artists.
According to AllHipHop.com, Spotify created a total of four lists. Each list takes into consideration the most streamed female artists by women both globally and in the United States, and also the most streamed female artists by both genders, globally and in the United States.
Beyoncé topped both the “All-time most streamed female artists by women on Spotify, worldwide” and “All-time most streamed female artists by women on Spotify in the U.S” lists.
Barbados-born singer Rihanna topped the “All-time top 10 streamed women globally on Spotify” list while Lana Del Rey took the top spot on Spotify’s “All-time top 10 streamed women in the U.S. on Spotify” list.
