Just days after it was announced that Kanye West’s highly anticipated sneaker collaboration with adidas may be released during New York Fashion Week, the Chicago rapper is back, this time covering Billboard’s annual Power 100 issue with Lana Del Rey.
The G.O.O.D. music artist appears alongside Lana Del Rey and Universal Music Group’s Chairman/CEO Lucian Grange, who ranks #1 on the list.
“Lucian has such an extensive knowledge of music history, yet his eye is always on the future,” Lana Del Rey says. “As artists, we’re lucky he’s at the helm.”
Elsewhere, the Power 100 list includes: Apple’s Jimmy Iovine (#5), Roc Nation’s Jay Brown (#30), Justin Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun (#41), Steve Bartels from Def Jam Recordings (#51), Epic Records’ L.A. Reid and Sylvia Rhone (#61) and Birdman and Ronald “Slim” Williams from Cash Money Records (#90).
