Looks like Hip Hop is getting a bad rap in Iran.
The Middle Eastern country has banned Hip Hop concerts indefinitely, according to The Jerusalem Post.
Iran’s spokesman for its Ministry of Culture and Islamic guidance, Hussein Noosh- Abbadi, recently expressed that the current regime views “this kind of Western music as a problem for [Iran’s] traditional music.”
“This music encourages wild behavior that could have a detrimental effect on society,” Noosh- Abbadi said.

Noosh- Abbadi and the Ministry of Culture have been cracking down for more than five years and they seem firm in their decision.
“We don’t want to have it,” he said. “And we will prevent any unwanted incidents normally associated with such concerts and other events.”
