Good news kids. There’s another Friday movie on the way.
New Line Cinema has given Ice Cube the green light to begin work on Friday After Next, which will be the third in a line of movies that includes Friday and Next Friday.
The new ghetto comedy will again feature Cube as Craig Jones. Craig and Day-Day (from Next Friday) return to the ghetto from Rancho Cucamonga and get an apartment together. They have jobs as mall security guards, and the story takes place around Christmas. Mike Epps will return as Day-Day, D.C. Curry will return as Uncle Elroy, and John Witherspoon will again play Craig’s dog-catchin’ dad. No word on Smokey though.
