The Vans Warped tour is lightening up on hip-hop this summer, and so far only Kool Keith and Detroit’s Esham are scheduled to appear. The tour, which for all intents and purposes is a punk show, has featured the likes of Ice Cube, Dilated Peoples, Eminem, Jurassic 5 and the Black Eyed Peas in past years. It’s sponsored by the shoe company Vans and is one of the most popular summer tours still running.
This year’s tour will include three stops in Canada: July 5 in Calgary, August 10 in Montreal, and August 11 in Barrie, Ont.
