Marion “Suge” Knight is free. The big man, CEO of Death Row records, was released from a U.S. Federal prison in Sheridan, Oregon on Monday night. He even made a television appearance on Tuesday night.
Suge was sentenced to nine years in prison for parole violation after he was seen involved in a fight on a hotel surveillance tape. The incident in question happened that fateful day in September 1996 when Tupac was killed after a boxing match in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Now that Suge is free, questions remain as to what will become of Dre and Snoop, who have feuded with Suge since their Death Row days in the early nineties. One would assume that Suge was running the show from prison anyway, so it remains to be seen if anything will change.
