Prevail is announcing exclusively through HipHopDX his The West Coast Renaissance Tour, which he will be co-headline with fellow Canadian rapper Kyprios. The tour is scheduled to have 10 stops through Alberta and British Columbia.

One-half of Swollen Members, Prevail is currently promoting Alpha Omega, which is set to be released in early 2015. He says he will also feature work from his solo project Spasefase EP, which was released in 2012, on the tour. Prevail is taking the time to do more solo work while Madchild promotes his own solo project, Switched On

“I’ve been working in the studio on some new solo tracks, and the new material is insanely high energy,” Prevail says in an exclusive statement to HipHopDX. “With Madchild out on the road in support of his amazing new solo record and Rob [the Viking] taking some time off to build a brand new studio and work on beats, now just felt like the perfect time to embark on a solo tour. I’m blessed to have some incredibly talented emcees out with me on this tour.”

Kyprios says he is excited to be touring with Prevail. The member of Sweatshop Union worked with Swollen Members when their label Battle Axe Records released their albums.

“Prevail has been a mentor, an idol, a brother, an inspiration and a lifelong friend,” Kyprios says. “I’ve put many miles on the odometer with Prev, always astounded by his on onstage ferocity, his energy and capacity to control a crowd.”
