Usher and Chris Brown shared the stage for a performance of “New Flame” in Las Vegas, Nevada over the weekend as part of the iHeartRadio Festival.
During the performance, Chris Brown and Usher danced alongside one another. Once Usher finished his portion of the dance, he slid both Jordan brand sneakers off his feet and lit them on fire.
Usher and Brown embraced following the performance. Soon after this, the fire was extinguished.
This news follows Brown claiming he would not lose to Usher in a dance-off.
“See, I don’t like to be cocky or arrogant anymore, but when it comes to dancing — when you say ‘Chris Brown’ and you say ‘dancing,’ you’re gonna have to bring your A game,” Brown said in an interview with MTV‘s Sway Calloway. “It’s like when [Allen] Iverson crossed [Michael] Jordan. It’s a little different. These moves a little new.”
