Wiz Khalifa Names Eminem In Favorite MTV VMA Moment

When Wiz Khalifa assesses the history of the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs), the rapper says Eminem is responsible for his favorite moment. 

“When Eminem came out and did ‘The Real Slim Shady’ and he had all the Eminems dressed like him,” Wiz Khalifa says to MTV when discussing his favorite VMA moment.

Khalifa says this was a particularly significant performance. 

“That was a real moment in his career,” he says, “And seeing somebody turn into a superstar, it was like, ‘Wow. That’s it.'” 

During the interview, Wiz also commended Miley Cyrus for her 2013 performance at the VMAs. 

“It was simple,” he says. “Very effective. Ruffled a lot of feathers.” 

The VMAs are set to air Sunday (August 24).
