Less than two weeks ago, rapper Too Poetic of the Gravediggaz passed away from colon cancer. Now, another rapper has lost his battle with the disease.
Big Ed, an original member of the No Limit group Tru, has died from cancer. The rapper, whose real name is Edward Knight, was known as a clean-living non-smoker and vegetarian. His work with No Limit appears on the album The Assassin, but he left the label after that. He later released an independent album called Special Forces.
Big Ed leaves to mourn a wife, two children, and the hip-hop community.
