Who says hip-hop doesn’t support the community? These thanksgiving hip-hop artists are spreading their wealth and helping the needy as they prepare to give back to the community. Cam’ron, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, Freaky Zeeky and the rest of the Diplomats will be holding a Thanksgiving turkey giveaway.
The Dip Set handed out 97 turkeys at the Adam Clayton Powell State Office Building in Harlem, New York. The Dip Set is getting set to release their new album “Diplomatic Immunity 2”(on Koch Records) and Cam’ron is releasing his new album “Purple Haze”(Roc-A-Fella Records). Cash Money hosted their fifth annual Cash Money Turkey Giveaway in New Orleans. In addition to Cash Money, Lugz Shoes and members of the Hornets basketball and Saints football teams joined the label to help hand out over 3,000. turkey’s in the community. Joe Budden also assisted at Turkey N Da Hood Community Day in New Jersey as they gave out turkey’s to the Montgomery Gardens housing complex.
