Black Rob seems to be in the spotlight of the law once again. Black Rob was arrested on Monday (November 22nd) for burglarizing a New York hotel room. Rob also known as Robert Ross was arrested at On the Ave Hotel for entering a hotel room of a guest and removing jewelry without permission. On a hotel surveillance camera Black Rob was seen checking rooms on the 12th floor and leaving one room with a pocketbook.
According to the New York Post the pocketbook belonged to Renu Vermani, who was asleep at the time and says that she is now missing $6,000 worth of David Yurman jewelry and $300 in cash. At the time of Black Rob’s arrest, the jewelry was not in his possession but contacted his alleged accomplice Damien Ashmeade who brought the stolen items to the police station. Recently released from prison for failure to pay child support, Black Rob was scheduled to release a new album titled “Bet on Black” within the next few months and a double album later in the year.
