50 Cent says he’s not guilty. The Queens rapper pleaded not guilty to the assault and battery charges filed against him after an alleged fight that happen after a concert he performed in Springfield, Massachusetts in May. At an invite-only spring jam concert, 50 Cent also known as Curtis Jackson made an unscheduled performance and allegedly got hit in the head with a water bottle that was said to be thrown from the crowd.
50 Cent the allegedly jumped into the crowd and got into an altercation with someone and three women injured. According to the Associated Press, two women were allegedly kicked in the face. 50 Cent did not physically appear in court but entered the plea through his lawyer Steve Leary. A pre-trial meeting where 50 Cent is actually scheduled to appear is set for February 8th. In other G-Unit news Game is the next one up to bat to release his first G-Unit solo album. The first official single “How We Do” featuring 50 Cent is set to be released in the next few weeks and his album will be released early next year.
