Lil Kim’s taking time from recording to going back to school. For a day that is. Lil Kim paid a visit to Syracuse University on November 3rd to be a part of a discussion on the course being taught on her life and cultural significance. The accredited (yes they are giving real credits!) course titled Hip-Hop Eshu: Queen B@#$H 101 – The Life & Times of Lil Kim” is a part of the English Department’s curriculum this semester. During the visit Lil Kim participated in a meet and greet with students and a lengthy class discussion with students as well as hold a press conference.
“I am honored and quite proud that a class is being taught on my sensationalist lyrics, unique style and fashion and leadership role within the hip-hop community,” Lil Kim said. “I look forward to a wonderful day at Syracuse University, meeting and greeting my many fans, as well as the academic community.” Currently Lil Kim has been in the studio working on her new album as well as building a defense in her upcoming perjury trial next year.
