After taking a break from hip-hop to re-gather his focus, Ja Rule is coming back as if he never left. Beefing with 50 Cent lyrically and physically took a toll on Ja Rule’s career and left many wondering would his new album renew or continue what had gotten way outta hand. “I’m a vegetarian, I don’t even want no beef right now. I’m cool. Let them other (guys) deal with the beef, I’m good,” Ja said. “Sometimes, in beefs and battles, that’s what it’s all about, it’s for the fans, it’s like a big show, and for me, it wasn’t that, it was very real.” Ja continued. “But 50 made it into a show. When you’re a big artist, people wanna see you fall sometimes, and it’s like that. This is human nature, and I really had to step back and understand”.

Releasing last year’s “Blood In My Eye”, Ja didn’t receive the normal reception he had gotten used to over the years and seemed to only make him work harder to get back to what he once felt comfortable resting, at the top of the charts. His new album “R.U.L.E” shows Ja with his same style but a new focus with songs such as “Wonderful” and “New York” getting heavy radio and television airplay. “I’m gonna make my records and do what I do with my peoples and have a good time with life, and you know, we wanna get back to having fun, making you dance in the club, and party, because that’s what real gangstas do, they party.” As far as the beef goes, Ja feels as if the worst is over. “The whole time I felt like, it’s a phase, because when I go out, I got the hate, but I got love too,” he said. “I’ve seen other artists go through it. I’ve seen B.I.G. go through it. I got a sample on one of my records from B.I.G., actually, with him saying, it goes around. You love me, you hate me and now it’s time to love me.” “R.U.L.E” will hit stores on November 9th.
