After reuniting at Dave Chappelle’s “Block Party” last month, The Fugees seem to remain on track to bring their music back into hip-hop.

Wyclef Jean, Lauryn Hill and Pras are said to be hitting the studio to work on a new album once Lauryn finishes her third solo album that she is currently working on for release next year. The three surprised hip-hop heads by performing together at the “Block Party” after breaking up years ago with no definite plans to get back together.

In that time Lauryn has released two solo albums and shied away from the spotlight, while Wyclef has remained a fixture in music through producing and releasing his own solo albums. Pras has also released a solo album and done several movies. Currently Wyclef is promoting his new album “Welcome to Haiti: Creole 101” which celebrates Haiti’s 200 years of independence and plans to add Pras to a remix of his song “La Bamba”.
