Court cases are running wild through hip-hop as Nas and Beanie Siegel both see their cases postponed to a later date. Although Nas was set to appear in court on September 21st in New York his case was adjourned until November 18th. Nas faces second-degree assault charges from an incident that happen in December where he allegedly threw a bottle at a man in a nightclub. The case has been asked to be delayed by the district attorney’s office.
Trying to release his new album “The B. Coming” and fight court cases at the same time is a daily job for Beanie Siegel. Beanie’s second hearing for an altercation in January 2003 when he allegedly punched a man in the face has been postponed until November 3rd according to MTV. Sigel’s is also scheduled to be retried on attempted murder charges and has a separate sentencing that is scheduled for October 8th on federal gun charges.
