Pepsi.com has released its list of the “15 Most Memorable Music Moments In TV This Year So Far.”
“Television is the perfect outlet to witness your favorite musical acts grab some much-deserved air time,” the pepsi.com article says. “This year was certainly eventful in that respect, with a number of award shows and specialty programming showcasing incredible performances and moments that simply couldn’t be captured in a song on the radio. As the year winds down, we highlight 15 memorable music moments in TV that people will be talking about for years to come.”
One of the television moments on pepsi.com’s list is Beyonce’s performance at the Super Bowl, which featured the Baltimore Ravens defeating the San Francisco 49ers.
“The Super Bowl Halftime Show has become synonymous for being extravagant, an event that arguably rivals the Super Bowl itself,” pepsi.com says. “Beyonce’s appearance at this year’s show may have been the best yet, as her 14-minute performance delivered in every way possible. From ‘Crazy in Love’ to ‘Halo,’ she performed a medley of records from her catalog with style and grace, rarely missing a note while hitting every dance move onstage.”
pepsi.com gave the singer even more acclaim because of who she shared the stage with. “Beyonce even brought out former Destiny’s Child members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams to join her in performing ‘Bootylicious,’ ‘Independent Women Part 1’ and ‘Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It),’” pepsi.com says. “Add in grandiose fireworks as well as an elaborate stage and lighting setup, and Beyonce’s performance was an incredible moment that millions of Americans will remember years from now.”
