Rappers have made music videos in exotic locales around the world, but now, one duo has taken it one step further.
Aspiring emcees Pacman and Peso have recorded part of a music video in North Korea, reports Huffington Post.
The two rappers created a fundraising proposal through Kickstarter, suggesting that the video would be recorded on a karaoke party bus in Pyongyang, North Korea.

Pacman explained that the duo did not intend any sort of commentary by the location. “I mean we did not go there to be political,” he said. “We just go down there to shoot our video and that about the reason why we went, not political.”.
The Washington-area rappers spoke to reporters at an airport in Beijing after returning from a five-day trip to North Korea. “Nobody shot a video in North Korea, let alone thought of it,” said Peso. “Nobody even thought of making a video in North Korea. You know what I’m saying?”
The duo raised $10,000 on Kickstarter to fund their trip.

Americans are able to travel to North Korea on arranged tours, and are accompanied at all times by North Korea minders. Six U.S. citizens have been detained by North Korea since 2009. However, Pacman and Peso encountered no problems.
“They treated us well, like I was sick out there for good two days and they took care of me until I got over the sickness,” said Peso.
