P. Diddy is the only one making big moves to get young people to vote. The Hip-Hop Summit Action Network has enlisted the likes of Lloyd Banks, Mase, Loon, Twista, The Ying Yang Twins and Twista to join in at the first Boston Summit. The Summit is set to begin on July 26th, the same day as the Democratic National Convention in Boston, will look to add more registered voters to the nearly one million that they have already registered. The Hip-hop Summit will be partnering with other organizations such as Dunk the Vote, Play station 2, The Urban League and the NAACP to add to the amount of support they garner.
After being cut from the Nuggets, Master P and his son may be ordered to make an appearance in court now that Lil Romeo’s album “Gametime” is the subject of a lawsuit. Seam Cunningham alleges he wrote six songs on the album but never received any credit or compensation for his work. Cunningham also alleges that Lil Romeo’s style was copied from him. The lawsuit is expected to go to trial in March of 2005.
Roc-A-Fella has added yet another new artists to their roster. N.O.R.E is the newest member of the ROC. No word on when his new album will be released.
