Although his album “Kiss of Death” went number one the week of its release, Jadakiss was another rapper who’s fourth of July didn’t end on a happy note. Jadakiss received two citations for misdemeanor weapon and drug charges after being pulled over by police in Fayetteville, North Carolina. After performing over the weekend in North Carolina an off duty officer allegedly spotted an SUV with its occupants throwing fireworks out the window.
The officer pulled the vehicle over and asked the occupants not to do it but once the vehicle pulled off they allegedly started back up again. Pulling the vehicle over this time the officer found two .45 caliber guns and a small amount of marijuana in the vehicle. Although eight people were in the SUV, Jadakiss took responsibility for the vehicle and was issued the citations. He is scheduled to appear in court on July 28th.
In other news Jadakiss is planning to shoot another video for his next single which would be a follow to the two that have already been released (“Time’s Up” & “Why”) and the LOX are looking to head back in the studio to record a new album tentatively titled “Live, Suffer, Celebrate”.
