One of hip-hop’s biggest enigmas has signed a new deal with Gladiator Records.

The lyrical assassin, who put out one mediocre and one wack album (I know I’ll get some slack for that) with Universal has signed on with a smaller label this time in the hope that he’ll receive more focused attention.

Production on the album will be handled mainly by Mark Sparks, which will no doubt give rise to another round of questions as to why Canibus can’t/ won’t hook up with a big-name producer. He has also reportedly finished work on the 4 Horsemen album.
