Ja’Marc Antoine Davis, a member of the Tulsa, OK, Christian rap group Raze, is being charged with statutory rape, lewd molestation and forcible sodomy.
He waived his right to a preliminary hearing so that his alleged victim wouldn’t have to testify. The woman in question is said to be one of the group’s former dancers, who was 13 at the time of the alleged incident, which occurred four years ago. Davis met the girl through his church, and they shared an interest in Christian music.
He is scheduled to be arraigned on July 9.
