R. Kelly is bringing his “Trapped In The Closet” series back. During a trip to New York, the Chicago-based artist told TMZ.com that new material from the musical saga will be coming out in “a couple months.”

The interviewer also asked the singer-songwriter-producer if he was making videos for the new “Trapped In The Closet” songs.  “Oh yeah, oh yeah,” R. Kelly said. “We’re working on ‘em now.”

Last month, R. Kelly released behind-the-scenes footage of the forthcoming videos, which include Chapter 33 with long-running characters Sylvester and ‘Twan. In the video, Bankhead pulls a shotgun on Sylvester and ‘Twan before letting them into the club once Beno approves it.

Later in the clip, Sylvester and ‘Twan run out of the club and get chased. “’Twan Sylvester on the run / Gotta get away from goons with guns,” R. Kelly sings on the song included in the video.

R. Kelly launched the “Trapped In The Closet” series in 2005, releasing the first 25 installments. In 2007, he released 10 more songs. In October 2010, the singer said that he has “got like a hundred chapters to come.”
