Finally. That’s what East Coast headz are saying to the news that Mad Skillz is releasing his new album. But to do it, he’s changing his name to just plain old Skillz.
Skillz is a member of the VA posse The Supafriends, and has been an underground staple for years. He appeared on the Eastern Conference All Stars album, and has dropped his own singles, most notably Lick The Balls. He also appeared on the High & Mighty’s mega-hit remix of B-Boy Document.
Now he’ll soon be dropping his next full-length on Rawkus, with help from his old pals The Supafriends, as well as Missy, Timbaland and the Neptunes. His first single Ya’ll don’t Wanna, produced by Hi-Tek is already on the shelves.
