After being allegedly pushed off a stage during a concert performance at Dr. Phillip High School by a police officer in Orlando, Florida, Lil Scrappy has filed a $250 million dollar lawsuit against the police department.
The incident was caught on video tape and an internal investigation has been launched. “You put your hands on a superstar or a star or somebody with money, you lose your money,” Lil Scrappy told BET.com. “I tried to tell y’all that but what’s going on with it. We got the NAACP looking at it. It’s going down real big. Black folk, White folk everybody is getting involved and we going to get that money – $250 million. If I can’t get that, I will settle in court right now for $90 million. Holla at your boy”. Lil Scrappy’s manager Tommy “Serious” Phillips was arrested and charged with battery on a police officer.
