Looking to make Hip Hop history, the St. Lunatics Nelly is making plans to take over the summer when he releases two albums on the same day. Although many artists release double albums often, the difference with Nelly’s albums is the fact that they are separate in style and title. According to MTV, the one album will go along the lines of Nelly’s party style records and the other will be more street oriented. One possible added addition to his album will be the possible return of Mase to Hip Hop scene. It is said that he recorded a song for one of the albums. The album will be released on August 17th.

Russell Simmons is looking to gather one of the “biggest Hip Hop gatherings ever” when he calls for Hip Hop fans around the world to hold “The March on New York”. Hoping to march on August 30th in New York, the same day as the Republican National Convention, Russell Simmons and the Hip Hop Summit Action Network are hoping to call attention to the Rockefeller Drug Laws, Funding for deprived schools and voter registration. HHSAN plans to announce the names of those who will be attending the March (P. Diddy, Jay-Z and many more attended the Rockefeller Drug Laws Rally) and the site will be announced later as well. Simmons hopes to have the march near the Republic Convention. For more information log on to www.hsan.org.
