Jumping into the rap game with the intent on being one of the best new TVT’s artists Pitbull is sure to represent his labelmates known for making it “Crunk”. Coming straight out of Miami, Pitbull brings a different flavor to the rap game that we haven’t seen in a while. “I see my style as being melting pot of different flows. Being from Miami, I picked up on a lot of styles from different cultures and each style brought me a different flow from crunk to reggae”. Though he reps Miami, Pitbull has been influenced by four of hip-hop’s biggest names. “I definitely respect Jigga because his flow has always been so classy. Nas with “Illmatic”, Snoop with “Doggstyle” and BIG with “Ready to Die” have all influenced me in rap. I just want everyone to get ready because there’s no telling which way I will flip a song”.
With the buzz from his mixtape song “That’s Nasty” featuring Lil Jon gaining more radio rotation, Pitbull is already prepared to back up his official single “Culo” with a video shot at a festival in Miami.
