Busta Rhymes isn’t the only one making the switch to Interscope Records. Super producers The Neptune’s are in the process of signing a three year deal with Interscope Records for their Star Trak label for 3 million. Producing such artists as The Clipse, Kelis, Rosco P Coldchain, High Speed Scene and N.E.R.D, the Neptunes (Chad Hugo and Pharrell Williams) have been a major contributor to Arista during their two year tenure under Antonio “L. A” Reid (who now heads up Def Jam Records).Under the deal, The Neptunes will sign and produce artists and Interscope will handle marketing, promotion, sales and distribution. The Clipse and Kelis will remain at Arista which merged into Zomba Label Group. As producers Chad and Pharrell have produced hits for such artists as Jay-Z, Nelly, NORE, Busta Rhymes, Snoop Dogg.
