With his current single “Game Over” taking radio and television by storm, Houston’s own Lil Flip seems to no longer be just an “Undaground Legend”. Beginning his career as a member of the Screwed Up Click under mixtape legend DJ Screw, Lil Flip aka Wesley Weston learned how to focus his rap skills which helped him move over $100,000 units on his first independent album “The Leprechaun”.

Preparing to release his third album “U Gotta Feel Me” on March 23rd on his label Clover G Records, Flip plans to showcase not only his triumph’s but tragedies he’s encounter over the last couple of years. “I took my time on the new album and really worked on it,” he divulges. “I spent a lotta time in the studio to come up with different concepts. I wanted to give it mixed emotions. Every track makes you feel a different way. When I go in the studio, I always give the fans some extra sh*t,” he continues. “Giving them extra sh*t makes them feel appreciated, like they didn’t f*ck their money off.”

No longer on Sucka Free Records, Lil Flip will continue his hustle when he releases his own fruit flavored liquor, Lucky Nites on March 23rd the same day his album drops. You can find his pineapple flavored drink in green bottles. “I was doing the rap part and making sure the music was tight,” Flip explains, “but I wasn’t really concerned with the business end of it. Now, I want in on (it) all.”
