Is P. Diddy finished with the rap game? After putting in ten years of work in the hip-hop game Diddy may very soon take the lead of Jay-Z and hang up his mic. After Diddy releases his new album “PD5” later this year, he says it may be the end of his career as a solo artist. “I don’t want nobody to just go crazy or nothing,” he said. “It’s not going to be as dramatic or traumatic as Jay-Z retiring. I got a chance to have my dream come true, and I wanted to make sure I made the decision as to when I dropped my last album,” Diddy told MTV.

“If I don’t feel like this album is an incredible piece of work, then I’m cool with the albums I’ve done. I don’t have to put out another album.” But don’t look for Diddy to hang up his Sean John hat completely. Alongside the new release of “Bad Boys 10th Anniversary: The Hits” will be the dance album “Divided Souls”, a production of “Raisin in the Sun” starring Diddy himself and several new releases from artists on his Bad Boy roster. “We’ve learned so much over the last 10 years — through mistakes and successes, triumphs and tragedies,”. Making it through 10 years is a true blessing. We feel we’ve made a positive impact on youth culture, on hip-hop. We showed people that if you dream and you believe, you can do it”.
