Although he was arrested early Friday morning for attempted murder, Bad Boy recording artist Loon didn’t let the charges or the one million dollar bail he posted stop his flow. It was business as usual when Loon arrived at the Hip-Hop Summit’s Action Network voter registration drive on Saturday.
“I’m innocent, that’s first and foremost,” Loon told MTV. “I’ll leave it at that. It’s a very unfortunate situation. This hasn’t stopped me from living and partaking in major events such as the Hip-Hop Summit. My cause is still valid, that’s why I’m here today “.
Loon was arrested with two other men for allegedly stabbing a security guard who stood at the House of Blues door for the Lil Jon & the Eastsiders DVD release party. Although the guard was treated and release from the hospital, detective’s are still trying to figure out who the actually did the stabbing. Apparently Loon was a big help for the voter registration drive, 60,000 voters where registered to participate in the upcoming election.
