The top of the music charts isn’t the only place Andre 3000 of Outkast plans to spend his time. This week Andre will begin shooting his first major film role in the F. Gary Gray film “Be Cool” which is the sequel to “Get Shorty”. Other allstar cast members for this film will be Duane “The Rock” Johnson, Vince Vaughn, James Gandolfini (Tony from “The Sopranos”), Harvey Keitel, Uma Thurman, Cedric the Entertainer, Christina Milian as well as the original cast members Danny Devito and John Travolta.
In this film John Travolta will continue in his role as Chili Palmer a loan shark who discovers a singer in Linda Moon(Christina Milian) who he wants to help become famous. Andre 3000 will play the leader of a rap group Dub MDs. The role in the film was said to be made just for him according to billboard. In other Outkast news, the next single to be released from the group’s album will be “Roses” a song that can be found on Andre 3000’s side of the album. A video will also follow the release of the single.
