Lil Jon & the East Side Boys plan to keep in crunk when they jump back into the studio this week to begin preparation for their 3rd album titled “Crunk Juice” on TVT Records. The album is scheduled to be released in September 2004.
Ghostface Killah is preparing to invade mixtapes and radios with two new songs representing for both. Ghostface recently shot a video at the Bronx House Correctional Facility for his song “Run” featuring Jadakiss. “It’s a grimy song. We couldn’t show things on TV how we wanted to, so [filming in prison] is a political move”. Ghostface is also has an official single titled “Toosh” featuring Missy. As soon as I heard the beat, I heard her on it, so I wrote my part with her in mind. She was hard to get to. You know Missy is busy. I had to leave a message on one of her girlfriends’ phones. ‘Yo, all I want her to do is listen to it. If she don’t like it, she don’t gotta mess with it. Just hear it for me, please.’ She fell in love with it when she heard it. She had her verse the next day, Ghostface told MTV. His new album “Pretty Tony” hits stores in March.
C-Murder’s hearing for a new trial has been postponed until next week. According to MTV the court is waiting to hear the testimony again from the prosecutions key witness who currently can’t be found. The defense has joined in the search to look for this witness who was convicted of a felony and the court was not aware of it. Prosecutors argued they were unaware of her record but on a recent search the record was easily accessible.
