Known as one of the most important awards in hip-hop, MC’s such as Mobb Deep, Jadakiss, Raekwon join DJ’s Red Alert, Kid Capri and Whoo Kid for the Eighth Annual Mixtape Awards. Celebrating the job of the hip-hop deejay, the invitation only mixtape awards has continued to grow into a world recognized event.Hip-hop heads were able to log onto www.themixtapeawards.com and place a vote for the DJ they thought had the most heat on their mixtapes this year. The awards will be held in New York City on January 14th.
50 Cent isn’t the only G-Unit member branching out to do other things. Lloyd Banks,Tony Yayo, young Buck and 50 Cent is about to add his hat to the adult entertainment business. Banks has singed a deal with Digital Sin Entertainment to help create an adult film series aptly titled “Groupie Luv”. The series has been described as an “interactive sex DVD” that will allow viewers to personally customized their viewing experience. Digital Sin has said that no member of G-Unit will be engaging in any sexual acts but will make an appearance on the film. “It’s gonna be great,” Banks told Billboard. “It will seem like you will be the one having sex.”
