Trick Daddy also known as Maurice Young, received an early Christmas present this year when the Assistant State Attorney (ASA) allow him to make a deal in which he will avoid jail time.
On Monday December 22nd Trick Daddy and the ASA Stacy Glick reached a plea agreement that has him pleading guilty to cocaine and weapons charges in exchange for twenty four free appearances to speak to children about the danger of drugs, AIDS, guns and violence. Under the agreement the felony charge of aggravated assault with a firearm was reduced to improper display of a deadly weapon or firearm, a misdemeanor. He also pled guilty to possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of cocaine and marijuana.
“I hope that these youngsters will learn lessons from his life that they don’t want to happen in their own lives,” Stacy Glick said. In 1991 Trick Daddy served two and a half years in jail for weapons violation, cocaine possession and violating probation.
