In another hilarious comedy, Method Man and Redman are ready to appear on a screen near you as the dynamic duo land their own television show on the FOX network. On the television show the two rappers/actors will play themselves as they move into a house in a predominantly white neighborhood in a New Jersey suburb.
The idea is the brainchild of Method Man, who along with Redman has steadily been building a career on the big screen. “It is a very traditional fish-out-of-water story, but Meth and Red really bring a lot of charm and their particular brand of charisma to it and make it very appealing,” Erin Simon Bereneson the Regency TV senior VP of comedy development said. Red and Meth are also attached to two other movies including New Line Cinema’s urban version of “The Producers” and Miramax’s remake of the comedy “Jail Breakers”. Method Man will also be starring in the upcoming MGM film “Soul Plane” and Miramax’s “My Baby’s Mama”.
