With the “Black Album” doing record sales and Roc-A-Wear placed at the top of the fashion industry, Jay-Z wants to be the one you can always call. On December 19th Jay-Z’s new cellular phone will be available exclusively in Sam Goody and Media Play retail stores.

Jay-Z and Nokia Cellular phones have designed a special edition wireless phone aptly titled “The Black Phone” which is a modeled after the company’s 3300 Music Phone. “Technology now provides us with the opportunity to deliver music in new ways,” Jay-Z said in a statement released to the media. “The Black Phone is at the forefront of the future which includes buying music instantly and taking it with you wherever you go.” The phones will be sold for $124.00 after a rebate and will come equipped with a preloaded multimedia card with “The Black Album” loaded onto it.

The phone will also have Jay-Z True Tone ring tones and as a added bonus registered users will receive weekly text and voice mail messages from Jay-Z himself.
