YMCMB starlet Nicki Minaj recently sat down with British talk show host Alan Carr while touring in the UK. During the Interview, Nicki spoke on her upcoming re-release of his sophomore LP Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded The Re-Up, due out this November 19. She explained that the project is more akin to an EP release given the eight new songs she record for it, and revealed that she plans to film the music video for her next single off the LP in London.
“It kind of is [a new album] because some people put out an EP with eight songs, and [Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded The Re-Up has] eight brand new songs,” she said. “I’m going to drop my first single for it tomorrow or the next day…this is a ‘Chatty Man’ bloody exclusive! I have to say for the single, I’m actually going to shoot the video in London.”
Nicki also discussed her upcoming three-episode reality series for E! Network, titled “Nicki Minaj: My Truth.” She explained that the show is going to be a very honest portrayal of her life, highlighting both the good and the bad moments in her career.
“You’ll see the real shit – it’s time. I can’t have people thinking it’s just this Barbie thing,” she said. “We can joke here [on stage], but back there [back stage], I have to be on phones with people and it’s important they take me serious[ly] and they know that I mean business. I did have reservations about certain scenes, I was like, ‘Oh, no! I look crazy,’ but you know what, you’re going to see the good and the bad.”
