In true hip-hop fashion Russell Simmons wants to make sure he can spread the Christmas cheer to as many kids as he can this year. LL Cool J, Jay-Z, P, Diddy and Kanye West were among those hip-hop artists that arrived at Club NV on Monday to the fourth annual youth holiday party that Russell Simmons held for children who participate in different arts programs throughout the city.

Hosted by MTV’s in house hip-hop reporter Sway, kids had a chance to enjoy a huge meal and gifts as well as a performance by Roc-A-Fella artist Kanye West. Dressed as Jolly St. Nick, LL Cool J almost went unnoticed until he began to give out hundred dollar bills to the kids. . “I’ll do anything for the kids,” LL Cool J told MTV. “If you give your time and energy when someone needs it, when you need it, someone will give their time and energy to you. It’s that simple”. Other artists that made appearances at the event were Bad Boy’s Da Band, Amerie, Doug E. Fresh and DJ Kay Slay.
