Kendrick Lamar and Lady Gaga previously announced a collaboration titled “PARTYNAUSEOUS” that was intended for the former’s major label debut good kid, m.A.A.d city, due October 22nd.

But even though they promised the collabo, the song didn’t make the final tracklist of the album. During an interview with Power 105’s The Breakfast Club, K. Dot explained why it missed the lineup, stating that it didn’t fit the original concept of the project.

“Me and Lady Gaga, we really good friends. She’s not on the album. We got some records, but when I was breaking down the bulk of the album, the ones we picked, we set them aside for future reference,” he said. “I already had everything premeditated for this day, for October 22nd.”

He also revisited how he met Gaga, stating that she called him on the phone and spit his lyrics from “Rigamortus.” “You know what’s crazy? She hit me phone. First, I was like, someone’s trying to work it where it’s a situation. But when she hit my phone and spit some of my most intricate lyrics, I knew that it was all for the love of the music. Like, ‘Rigamortus.’ She spit that.”
